Step by step install yos amchart

1. Unzip

After download the package, please unzip, you will see the list of files like this:

Note: plug-ins just available in pro version

2. Install component

Go to Joomla back-end and install the component. After install successfull you will see the"install sample" button. By clicking on that button, you will go to the back-up tab.

3. Back up manager

In this tab, you will see the list of chart types: amcolumn, amline, ampie, amstock ... To restore backed up chart, go to a folder then select archive file and click restore button.

4. Charts manage

In amCharts tab, you can manage all charts you have. Use filter on the right, you will see charts of each type.

Publish chart by click on button in published column

The ID of chart in the ID column on the right, you will use this id in module and plug-in. So just remember it or write it in a paper.

5. Install module and plug-ins

Now you install the module and all plug-ins you have.

6. Configure module

Go to Joomla module manager and find the module named "YOS amChart".

In the amChart's ID textbox, enter you chart's ID here. If you don't remember it, find the paper in step 4

Enable plugin value, you should choose Yes by default. This value will allow chart to get data from plug-in

Don't care about Select Chart value if you entered chart's Id.

Width, Height values allow you to define size of chart flash

Background Color: The background color of chart. I will set it to #FFFFFF.

Flash's version is Flash version compatible. It should be 8 by default

Path, Data file and Setting file: don't care if you entered chart's id

Remember to publish the module choose the position.

Finally, save your configuration.

7. Results

Go to the front-end and you will see a chart like this:
